This Week At The Resort

Lytton Days Parade & Handsworth Secondary School

Kumsheen doesn't just raft down the river: we raft down Main Street Lytton for the Lytton Days Parade. Our float won first prize again this year! Out on the Thompson, 115 students from Handworth Secondary spent two days rafting from Ashcroft to Lytton. Everyone came back with tanned faces and big smiles; they were then entertained by different locals who taught some of the history & culture of the Lytton area. Lots of other guests have been rafting this week as well. Both Kalamalka Secondary and Maple Ridge Christian School had sunny days on the water. We're glad to have plenty of people here at the Resort and to see everyone happy to be on the river.
