What to Wear & Pack

Power Rafting

Start by packing your spirit of adventure!

Then add a bathing suit, fast-drying shorts, synthetic T-shirt, hat, secure footwear (bare feet or thongs are not safe on the river), and glasses straps (we have several options available in our retail store).

On cool days add a wool, fleece, or polypropylene top, long pants (no cotton pants or jeans, as they make you feel colder!), wool or polypropylene socks, a toque (try a DM Toque) and rain gear.

Finally, bring along a towel and a complete set of dry clothes (including shoes) to leave in your vehicle for after your trip.

No rain gear? No problem. Long, custom designed raincoats will be provided at the rafting put-in.

Paddle Rafting

To enjoy paddle rafting, swimming ability and good health are strongly recommended.

Wear a bathing suit or shorts under the farmer-john wet suit that we provide. Add low cut running shoes or river sandals, glasses straps, and on cool days a windbreaker, wind pants, and a toque.

Don't forget a towel, dry clothes, and footwear to leave in your vehicle for after your trip.
