Package #1: Full-Day Legendary Thompson River
Raft the Thompson River, Spences Bridge to Lytton (40 km)
This is BC's most popular river trip, pioneered by Bernie Fandrich in 1973.
Before lunch the river snakes through hot desert-like terrain mixing calm, flat stretches (perfect for swimming beside the raft) with huge, rolling waves. At Nicomen (halfway to Lytton) the river enters the Devil's Gorge, unleashing its fury in eighteen unforgettable rapids like the Jaws of Death, Devil's Kitchen, and Witches' Cauldron.

Dates: Daily in May, June & September
Itinerary:
10:00 am Check-in at the Kumsheen Resort
10:30 am Depart for the rafting put-in at Spences Bridge
11:00 am Raft from Spences Bridge to Nicomen, experiencing the first handful of the day's rapids
1:00 pm Stop for a buffet-style lunch at Nicomen River Falls
2:00 pm Raft the 18 major rapids between Nicomen and Lytton, beginning with the Devil's Gorge
4:30 pm Return to the Resort for the swimming pool, hot tub, showers, rafting photos, River Rat certificates, and beach volleyball or disc golf; then depart for home

Package #2: Half-Day Devil's Gorge Run
Raft the Thompson River, Nicomen to Lytton (16 km)
This famous stretch of whitewater is synonymous with the Thompson River and perfect for those who don't have time for a full day or longer trip. It's a no frills/ all thrills excursion through the 18 rapids that made rafting in the west famous.
Package Includes:

- 16 km of rafting excitement in the big water of the Devil's Gorge
Dates: Sunday to Friday in May, June & September
Itinerary:
1:00 pm Check-in at the Kumsheen Rafting Resort
1:30 pm Depart for the rafting put-in at Nicomen
1:45 pm Raft the 18 major rapids between Nicomen and Lytton, beginning with the Devil's Gorge
4:30 pm Return to the Resort for the swimming pool, hot tub, showers, rafting photos, River Rat certificates, and beach volleyball or disc golf; then depart for home

Package #3: Two Day Desert Getaway
Raft the Thompson River, Ashcroft to Lytton (80 km)
This river escape floats through 40 sets of rapids and stunning desert-like badlands. Black Canyon, a 150-million year old sedimentary canyon wall with a powerful rapid in its gorge, is the highlight of the first day, and you brave the famous rapids of the lower Thompson on the second.

- Lunch and dinner Day 1, breakfast and lunch Day 2
- One night stayover in our campground (tents and sleeping bags not included)
- Two days on the river, featuring beautiful scenery and great whitewater action

Day 1 - Raft Ashcroft to Spences Bridge
8:45 am Check-in at the Kumsheen Rafting Resort
9:15 am Depart for the rafting put-in at Ashcroft
10:15 am Raft from Ashcroft to Spences Bridge with a riverside lunch
3:30 pm Head back to the Kumsheen Resort for dinner and camping
Day 2 - Raft Spences Bridge to Lytton
8:00 am Breakfast in the restaurant
10:30 am Depart for the rafting put-in at Spences Bridge
11:00 am Raft the big rapids between Spences Bridge and Lytton, with a buffet-style lunch at Nicomen River Falls
4:30 pm Return to the Resort for the swimming pool, hot tub, showers, rafting photos, River Rat certificates, and beach volleyball or disc golf; then depart for home

Package #4: Two Day Raft & Relax
Raft the Thompson River, Spences Bridge to Lytton (40 km) and spend a day relaxing at the Resort
This popular package combines our full-day Legendary Thompson River excursion with a second day relaxing and enjoying the pool and all the other resort amenities. This is a perfect two-day getaway for spending time together as a class.

- Lunch and dinner Day 1, breakfast and lunch Day 2
- One night stayover in our campground (tents and sleeping bags not included)
- 40 km of rafting excitement, with guide stories and great whitewater action

Day 1 - Relax at the Resort
morning Check-in at the Kumsheen Rafting Resort in time for lunch
12:00 pm Lunch in the Cutting Board Restaurant
1:00 pm Spend the afternoon enjoying the Resort amenities
5:00 pm Dinner in the restaurant, then camp for the night
Day 2 - Raft Spences Bridge to Lytton
8:00 am Breakfast in the restaurant
10:30 am Depart for the rafting put-in at Spences Bridge
11:00 am Raft the big rapids between Spences Bridge and Lytton, with a buffet-style lunch at Nicomen River Falls
4:30 pm Return to the Resort for a last dip in the swimming pool & hot tub; then depart for home

Package #5: Two-Day Big Water Excursion
Raft the Thompson River, Spences Bridge to Lytton (40 km) and the Fraser River, Boston Bar to Yale (50 km)
On Day One, brave the 18 biggest rapids of the Thompson River between Spences Bridge and Nicomen on either the paddle or power rafts.
World-famous Hell's Gate Rapid is the highlight of Day Two but half a dozen other rapids each hold their own surprises. Alternating between gigantic rapids and calm stretches, this mighty river gives you time to absorb the beauty of the rugged Fraser Canyon and bond as a group as you float.

4:30 pm Return to the Kumsheen Resort for dinner and camping
Day 2 - Raft Hell's Gate on the Fraser River
8:00 am Breakfast in the restaurant
9:00 am Depart for the rafting put-in at Boston Bar
10:00 am Raft Hell's Gate & other rapids of the Fraser River
4:30 pm Return to the Resort for a last dip in the swimming pool & hot tub; then depart for home

- Enjoy another banquet-style dinner in the Cutting Board Restaurant for $20 per person.
- Stayover an extra night in our campground with your own tents $11.50 per night
- Eat a hearty breakfast before or after your day on the river for $10.50, or add a lunch for $11.50.
- Add a 8x10 rafting photo for each of the grads to bring back long-lasting rafting memories. Photos are $13 each, plus taxes.
