Power Rafting

May and June are high water months on the Thompson River. Consequently we use only our large, motorized rafts for maximum safety and fun for our Dry Grad Program.

Chaperones and Teachers Raft For Free

As a parent chaperone or teacher, we understand the important role you serve during school trips. To reward you for a job well done, if you bring 15 or more students, you as the 16th person raft for free!

Bus Drivers

We realize that almost all of the schools wouldn't arrive at our resort if it weren't for their bus drivers-that's why bus drivers receive complimentary meals for the duration of the trip. Bus Driver meals must be booked in advance.

Cancellation Protection

Kumsheen's cancellation policy is 30 days. In other words, schools can cancel or change numbers without penalty up to 30 days before their departure. However, after the 30-day deadline no changes or refunds will be issued.

To protect funds, cancellation protection can be purchased at the time of booking. Refunds will only be issued in the event of illness, accident, or bereavement. The insurance is non-transferable and refunds are subject to third party verification. If you do not purchase cancellation protection, no refunds or alternate dates will be given for any reason.

Raft Trip Photos

We have our own photo lab and display digital photos of each raft in action by the trip’s end. Color 8x10 prints or a CD of your selection can be ordered by the students or conveniently added to the package price and provided to each student. They are mailed to the school. Cost: $12.00 per colour print or digital photo plus taxes (regular price $20), or a CD with all the photos taken of one raft (minimum 8 photos) for $100.
