Thompson River - Ashcroft to Lytton

Much more than whitewater, this two day excursion floats through stunning desert-like badlands – sage brush, ponderosa pine, prickly pear cactus – and over 40 sets of rapids. The first day is highlighted by Black Canyon, a 150-million year old sedimentary canyon wall with a powerful rapid at its gorge and a golden eagle as sentinel on its cliffs. You are bussed from Spences Bridge to our Rafting Resort in Lytton for dinner, camping and breakfast in the morning. Day 2 brings the Thompson’s legendary rapids with a whitewater climax that starts at The Frog, the first of 18 consecutive rapids. For wonderful two days and a weekend that will awaken all your senses, choose this excursion.

Features:

Day 1: Arrive at Kumsheen the evening before your trip (dinner not included but available in the Cutting Board Restaurant), camping.
Day 2: Breakfast, all day rafting from Ashcroft to Spences Bridge with riverside lunch. Shuttle to Kumsheen for dinner & evening activities
Day 3: Breakfast, shuttle to Spences Bridge for Legendary Thompson rafting trip. Lunch at Nicomen Falls. Apres rafting amenities of the resort.
